Win-Win Cooperation, Sustained Innovation: Customer Visit to Coloray

At the beginning of the new year, a delegation of three representatives from one of our cosmetics customers visited Coloray. Mr. Zhuo Zhongbiao, Chairman of Coloray, together with the Chairman’s Assistant and Sales Director and other relevant staff, warmly received the visitors.

“Pearlescent Charm, Layered Brilliance”

During the meeting, the Sales Director of Coloray Technology presented and shared Coloray’s development history, the application and achievements of Coloray pearlescent pigments in the cosmetics industry, and highlighted a series of newly developed products in recent R&D efforts.

The customer showed strong interest in this year’s five newly developed series and more than 60 pearlescent products. They asked the accompanying staff to inform the company’s R&D and sales teams to discuss how Coloray’s new products could be applied to newly developed cosmetics, and they also plan to organize a large-scale sharing session for around one hundred participants.

“Strict Quality Control for Product Excellence”

When discussing pearlescent products, the customer expressed great interest not only in technical R&D, but also in how Coloray ensures product quality and safety, as well as the procurement and processing of pearlescent raw materials (natural mica and synthetic mica).

Coloray has always upheld the belief that “Products are life, and quality is our mission.” Therefore, from the selection of mica, control of coating materials, to strict oversight of process flows, Coloray rigorously follows U.S. FDA-related international testing standards and China’s cosmetics standards. We prevent heavy metal contamination, control microbial generation during processing, and ensure that products meet quality requirements without posing risks to human health and safety.

In terms of raw material processing, Coloray conducts on-site inspections to select the best mica mines. After impurities are separated, mica powder is obtained through high-temperature calcination and grinding with roller mills, and particle size is controlled using a laser particle size analyzer. The visiting team also toured Coloray’s smart factory on-site, gaining deeper understanding of our R&D capabilities and production process technologies.
