Laboratory testers will conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis of chemical components, heavy metal content detection, stability testing, and optical performance testing of our pearlescent pigments and other safety tests. Based on the characteristics and uses of the pigments, testing methods that comply with regulations will be used. Testing standards to ensure product safety and compliance.

  • Color Development
    The colour development of pearlescent pigment is to develop a rich variety of pearlescent colours to meet different market demands and applications. Our researchers will carry out research from the selection of pearlescent pigment composition and substrate, regulation of coating process, evaluation and testing of product performance, etc. New series of products have already been launched.
  • New Substrate Research
    The research of new substrates of pearlescent pigment is to develop pearlescent pigment materials with better performance and wider application, including nano research, natural substrates (natural minerals, plant extracts and marine organisms with special optical effects), organic polymer materials, non-conventional substrates (carbon-based materials in addition to traditional substrates such as metal oxides and silica, etc.) and other new substrate researches, which are aimed at opening up the pearlescent pigment's application fields, enhance its performance and innovativeness, and meet the market demand and environmental requirements.
  • Surface Treatment
    To improve the use and stability of pearlescent pigments, researchers need to explore and develop new surface treatment techniques. Commonly used surface treatments include organic, inorganic and wet modification, which can improve the dispersion properties, colour stability and durability of the pigments.
  • Functional Research
    Our researchers have studied the optical function, colour development function, pigment stability and compatibility of pearlescent pigments. By adjusting the particle shape, particle size, surface treatment and other parameters of the pigments, different optical effects can be obtained, such as super metallic luster, colour variations with angles, rainbow effects, etc. These optical effects can bring more vivid and brilliant colours to the cosmetic or industrial fields.
  • Continuous Applied Research
